We absolutely loved staying at the Cow Creek Cottage! The home is clean and cozy, with beautiful, rustic charm. The setting is quiet and peaceful with a wonderful view of the John Day Mountain and the Salmon River. We thoroughly enjoyed the MANY personal touches that this home offers- the selection of locally raised meat in the freezer, the handcrafted furniture and vintage decor, local coffee and tea, fresh spring water and cream, and the handwritten card to welcome us. Raini was very responsive and went out of her way to make check-in easy. She was very welcoming and even allowed us to walk around the property to admire the wildlife and spectacular views. Thank you for your gracious hospitality, we would love to come back again!

My son, and granddaughter, and I stayed at Raini's place the last week in November, and from the first moment I saw the front porch with porch swing and bench I felt at home. Then we walked inside (easy check-in) and the cabin was so toasty warm and comforting. It suit our needs completely and all the little touches (water in the fridge, half & half, granola) made us feel welcome. There are towels, pots and pans, and even a first aide kit for our use. Everything was so thought out. I definitely recommend this cabin.

AMAZING VIEWS! AMAZINGLY COMFORTABLE! We loved it. The place was more than accommodating and so was the host. Had everything we needed. Very nice touches throughout. I was glad the space was available when I booked.
