Grangeville grown...I've told you before, that we have some amazing customers like you, that have grown to become friends. I'm always excited to hear about what you're doing, what you love and all of the other great things that make you uniquely made. Well, I have to tell you today about another one of our special friends, Maggie Thomas in Grangeville, Idaho. She does the most amazing job growing starts from seed. And the amount of love and passion she gives those plants is so obvious when you hear her talk about them...I love listening to her talk about them, and tell about all the things she's learned about them by experimenting , making mistakes and just plain instinct. Seth and I were so honored, when she said we could offer some of her extra starts to you through our deliveries. Especially, because we know how much work goes into growing healthy starts, that don't have a bunch of junk in them. I also love knowing the person who grows my healthy foods (or plants for food) whenever it's possible. Like Maggie, it always seems like you get "beyond organic" products from them, because they add everything they can that is healthy into what they grow...not just the minimum required. What do Maggie's tomato plants produce? I've told you before, but I'm a visual person, so I need to see pictures to help me learn and know what I'm going to end up with, so I understand if you need that too. If you take a look at rareseeds.com you can find these tomatoes with pictures of the fruit and get a good idea about the plants. Seth already planted ours with some of Maggie's pepper plants and they are looking so great in our garden. I can't wait to taste the different varieties on our PBLT sandwiches, this summer. (Pork Belly, Lettuce and Maggie's tomatoes~ yum!) I'm looking forward to hearing about your plants. If you pick some up, I'd love to see pictures of your beautiful garden, this summer.
